Fabulous, fun, fierce FRINGE!  I love the movement that fringe inspires.  It makes me want to DANCE!  So of course anytime I go to a festival or show I love to incorporate some element of black fringe… it’s Rock n Roll Western at its best.  Add some unexpected floral or studded leather element and it becomes Romantic Gyspy.  Two of my all time favorite vibes.
In my Closet: shaking it in a Zimmerman skirt (converted from a dress I cut in half) and a crop blouse by Nasty Gal.  The key with this look is — not showing the belly button.  The skirt has to be high enough to give just a slip of skin, not the entire thing.  I love high waisted skirts and pants for this type of look that’s elegant but sassy.  Also, you can hide flaws and bumps much easier that way and still appear very slim.  #stylingtrick !
Yet again these Chloe boots make the outfit perfect for a festival.  I’ve stomped all over muddy fields and dusty dirt roads in them and they only get better with age and destruction.
I can’t understand these girls who wear uncomfortable shoes to a show… you have to be able to MOVE and feel free as a bird.  That’s how this look makes me feel…..
These two pieces could easily be used in different ways as well. For more skin, change the top to a little ruffled or lace skimpy tank or rock the fringe blouse with a pair of high waisted shorts.  Same boots, maybe add a hat and you’re off to the show. xxx, Leah
